The waterfront, too, is landscaped along Strand Street; you can walk along the boardwalk for great views and access to beautiful beaches. On the north shore of St. Croix is the town of Christiansted, where Danish-colonial sites and romantic waterfront restaurants are just a normal part of daily life.
